Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method with which a golf ball excellent in impact durability can be obtained.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a golf ball comprises: a first step of preparing a core-oriented rubber composition by mixing (a) a base rubber, (b) an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid having 3 to 8 carbon atoms and/or a metal salt thereof as a co-crosslinking agent, (c) a crosslinkable compound having two or more polymerizable unsaturated bonds per molecule, and (d) a crosslinking initiator; a second step of making a spherical core at a molding temperature of 100°C-150°C using the core-oriented rubber composition; and a third step of forming, on the spherical core, a cover of at least one layer which covers the spherical core.SELECTED DRAWING: None
