Abstract:
To make it possible to perform a cash card transaction even if a read-out error of a magnetic stripe recorded with information including credit card information occurs when the cash card transaction is performed by using an integrated card.SOLUTION: An automatic transaction device executes cash card transaction processing by using a card having a magnetic stripe and an IC (integrated circuit) chip. When a magnetic stripe read/write part reads the information recorded in the magnetic stripe and the read-out error occurs, an IC chip read-out part reads the information recorded in the IC chip temporarily. When a transaction processing execution part can execute the cash card transaction processing based on the information, the magnetic stripe read/write part temporarily write information about presence of the IC chip, in which the card includes the IC chip, in the magnetic stripe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
