Abstract:
To make it possible to restart liquid circulation in short time in a liquid discharge device.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device is configured so as to: discriminate whether or not prescribed neglect time elapses when restarting liquid circulation by turning on power from such a state that the liquid circulation stops by turning off power; start drive of a compressor and vacuum pump by a pressure system control part after discharging liquid from nozzles of a head by carrying out idle discharge (first and second idle discharge operation) or suction discharge (first and second suction discharge operation) in response to the neglect time when the time neglected from turning off of power elapses exceeding prescribed time; and start the liquid circulation from a first sub-tank to a second sub-tank via the head by opening all magnetic valves 232, 242 when reaching a target pressure for circulating the liquid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
