Abstract:
To provide a carbon fiber that can ensure tensile strength, thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity, and the like even when using short carbon fibers such as short carbon fibers obtained by pulverizing CFRP and novel milled fibers.SOLUTION: A first short carbon fiber 2 having a diameter of 15 μm to 3 μm by pulverizing CFRP, a second short carbon fiber 3 having a diameter of 50 nm to 100 nm by further pulverizing CFRP, and a resin 4 such as polyimide filling the first short carbon fiber 2 and the second short carbon fiber 3, are provided. 60 to 80 pts.wt. of the resin 4, 25 to 35 pts.wt. of the first short carbon fiber 2, and the second short carbon fiber 3 are blended at a ratio of 0.5 to 2 pts.wt. and extruded from a nozzle while being spirally rotated from a hopper 61 to produce a long carbon fiber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
