Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a cable capable of manufacturing the cable, by suppressing the occurence of resin trouble flowing in an extruder head, and in a relatively low cost, and an extruder head used for the manufacturing method of the cable.SOLUTION: As one embodiment, a manufacturing method of a cable includes: an extrusion covering step for covering the outer circumference of a conductor 61 by extruding a resin 62 from a die 107 of a head 100 while the conductor 61 is inserted into and passing through the head 100 of an extruder 10 to form a cable 60 with the outer circumference of the conductor 61 covered with a cover layer; and a linking step for inserting the cable 60 into and passing it through a linking cylinder 20 filled with a pressurized and heated gas 70 to link the cover layer. The extrusion covering step and the linking step are carried out continuously. In the extrusion covering step and the linking step, a pressurized air is blown to an annular heat dissipation slit 111, continuous in the circumferential direction, and provided on the outer circumference of a die flange 109 surrounding a die 107, to dissipate heat of the head 100.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
