Abstract:
To provide a crystalline polyester resin which exhibits good adhesion to various plastic films and metals and has excellent transparency and chemical resistance, and a hot-melt adhesive using the same.SOLUTION: The crystalline polyester resin comprises a polycarboxylic acid component and a polyhydric alcohol component. The crystalline polyester resin contains 60 mol% or more of terephthalic acid based on 100 mol% of the polycarboxylic acid component of the crystalline polyester resin and contains 40-60 mol% of ethylene glycol, 40-60 mol% of 1,4-butanediol, 1-3.5 mol% of a polyalkylene glycol, and 5 mol% or less of diethylene glycol based on 100 mol% of the polyhydric alcohol component. The crystalline polyester resin has a melting point in the range of 120-140°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None
