Abstract:
To reduce a process length of a dripping process and, by the same token, a process length of the whole line of electrodeposition coating while suppressing the occurrence of poor appearance.SOLUTION: An electrodeposition coating method comprises: an electrodeposition coating process in which an electrodeposition film layer is formed on the surface of a vehicle body 1, and the vehicle body 1 on which the electrodeposition film layer is formed is rinsed; a process in which the vehicle body 1 whose surface of the electrodeposition film layer is wet with rinse water after the electrodeposition coating process, is transported into a dehumidification furnace 2; and a dehumidification process in which, air that comes into the dehumidification furnace 2 is removed to reduce humidity of the air while allowing the rinse water to drip as dripping water in the dehumidification furnace 2, the low-humid air is returned into the dehumidification furnace 2, thereby lowering the humidity of the inside of the dehumidification furnace 2, and the rinse water on the surface of the vehicle body 1 is dried.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
