Abstract:
To provide a steer-by-wire type steering device capable of facilitating releasing of steering regulation of a steering section when the steering regulation of the steering section is released after a starting switch of a vehicle drive source is on.SOLUTION: A steer-by-wire type steering device, having a structure in which a steering section and a turning section are not mechanically connected, includes: a regulation section for regulating steering of the steering section when an IGSW is off; a steering side motor 14 for applying a steering reaction against steering of the steering section; a reaction control section for increasing a steering reaction; a steering side control section 61 for controlling an operation of the steering side motor 14 so that steering reaction occurs; and a determination section 69 for determining whether or not regulation of the steering of the steering section by the regulation section is under a releasing state. The steering side control section 61, with the IGSW on and regulation of the steering of the steering section by the regulation section released, executes torque adjustment processing when the determination section 69 determines it not to be under a releasing state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
