Abstract:
To provide a vehicle upper part structure in which plastic deformation of a roof panel due to thermal expansion can be suppressed.SOLUTION: The vehicle upper part structure has: a pair of left and right roof side rails 12, extended in a vehicle longitudinal direction, outside in a vehicle width direction of a vehicle upper part, which have closed cross section structures formed therein; a roof panel 20 arranged across the pair of left and right roof side rails 12, at the vehicle upper part; and a pair of left and right side member outer panels 30 which comprise an inner flange part 30A arranged to cover the roof side rails 12 from outside of a vehicle and connected to the roof side rails 12 from an upper side of the vehicle, a vertical wall part 30B extended from the inner flange part 30A toward outside of the vehicle and provided with a joined part 32 to the roof panel 20 and a cutout part 34 formed on a bent line as a boundary between the inner flange part 30A and the vertical wall part 30B to stride across the vertical wall part 30B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
