Abstract:
To provide a rubber member having excellent resonance frequency, attenuation characteristic, and durability in a wide range from low temperature to normal use temperature high temperature, and a damper having the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a rubber member by peroxide vulcanization of a rubber composition mainly containing an ethylene propylene diene three dimensional copolymer (EPDM) as a rubber component, and containing carbon black having iodine absorption amount of 70 mg/g to 185 mg/g and DBP oil absorption amount of 40 ml/100 g to 120 ml/100 g of 100 to 180 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the EPDM having 56 wt.% of weight ratio of ethylene and Mooney viscosity (ML, 125°C) of over 28.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
