Abstract:
To provide a fuel tank which is excellent in prevention of contacting of a fuel transfer pipe and a wire harness part of an electronic member, with molten resin upon molding, and assembling after molding, in the saddle type resin fuel tank.SOLUTION: A connection part 32 of the tip side of a fuel transfer pipe 3 and connectors 43, 44 of the tip side of a wire harness part 41 are inserted to a protrusion part 25 and jack 26, 27 provided on a plate part 22 of the separator 2 and, therefore, contacting with molten resin is prevented upon molding of a fuel tank 1. The plate part 22 of the separator 2 is arranged on the neighborhood of an opening part 14 of the fuel tank 1, therefore, an operator can confirm the connection part 32 and the connectors 43, 44 on visual sight after molding and can easily detach them from the plate part 22 and can draw them out outside the opening part 14 of the fuel tank 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
