Abstract:
To provide a flow battery capable of reducing conduction between a negative electrode and a positive electrode.SOLUTION: A flow battery includes: a positive electrode 2; a negative electrode 3; an electrolytic solution 6; diaphragms 4, 5; and a flow device. The electrolytic solution are in contact with the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The diaphragms are arranged between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. A flow device 9 allows the electrolytic solution to flow. The diaphragms have recesses 22, 25 sandwiched by protrusions adjacent to a plurality of protrusions 21, 24 on the negative electrode side. The plurality of protrusions extend so as to be along the length direction intersecting with the height direction of the positive electrode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
