Abstract:
To provide a composite particle production apparatus and production method which can synthesize composite particles of dissimilar materials by collective processing.SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises: a chamber; a plasma generator which is arranged in the chamber and generates plasma; a first material feeding device which is connected to the chamber and feeds a first material into the chamber through a first material supply port; a second material feeding device which is connected to the chamber and feeds a second material into the chamber through a second material supply port; and a recovery system which is connected to the chamber and recovers composite particles discharged from the chamber, and the apparatus produces composite particles from the first and second materials fed from the first and second material feeding devices. The plasma generator generates, at a central part of the chamber, a plasma high temperature part having plasma having a higher temperature than peripheral parts, and is installed so that the first material supply port of the first material feeding device feeds the first material to the plasma high temperature part and the second material supply port of the second material feeding device feeds the second material to a part other than the plasma high temperature part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
