Abstract:
To reduce unnecessary power consumption.SOLUTION: A laminating apparatus for fixing a laminate film onto a medium includes: first conveying means for nipping and conveying the medium and the laminate film; fixing means with a heater that is provided on a downstream side in a conveying direction of the medium and the laminate film than the first conveying means, and heats the laminate film by the heater to fix it onto the medium; detection means for detecting that the medium and the laminate film are nipped by the first conveying means; and control means for controlling the heater so as to start heating after detecting that the medium and the laminate film are nipped by the first conveying means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
