Abstract:
To provide a gas storage device which achieves improvement of storage efficiency while stably holding a piston.SOLUTION: A gas storage device includes: a cylindrical storage part body 1 which is closed at an upper part and a lower part; and a piston 8 which is provided so as to be movable upward or downward in the storage part body 1 while adhering to an inner surface of the storage part body 1. The piston 8 includes: an annular foot ring 8A disposed within the storage part body 1; a piston part 8B supported above the foot ring 8A and covering the inner side of an annular shape of the foot ring 8A; and a moving mechanism 8C which is provided so as to be movable upward or downward in the storage part body 1 while supporting the piston 8 in a horizontal direction. The moving mechanism 8C has an upper guide roller 8CBa and a lower guide roller 8CBb which are provided in a manner that the rollers can contact with an inner surface of the storage part body 1 at upper and lower positions. The upper guide roller 8CBa is supported by a joint part between a side wall 8Ba and a root 8Bb, and the lower guide roller 8CBb is provided at a lower part of the foot ring 8A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
