Abstract:
To provide a suspension device which can change a spring reaction force while reducing a dimension.SOLUTION: A suspension device 10 includes a shock absorber 12 which has an outer tube 14 and an inner tube 16 and uses a hydraulic oil to generate damping force. Springs 122 and 138 are serially provided in the shock absorber 12, and a sub cylinder 140 is provided at the inner tube 16 side. A sub piston 146 which slides in the sub cylinder 140 and a spring 122 side end part of the spring 138 are connected by a connection part 157. A passage 158 for circulating the hydraulic oil between an oil chamber C and an oil chamber D is opened or closed by an opening/closing part 160. When the passage 158 is closed, the sub piston 146 becomes unable to slide in the sub cylinder 140 and the spring 138 becomes unable to expand or contract. When the passage 158 is opened, the sub piston 146 becomes able to slide in the sub cylinder 140 and the spring 138 becomes able to expand or contract.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
