Abstract:
To provide an electric connector capable of improving transmission characteristics of a high frequency signal.SOLUTION: An electric connector 1 includes an insulating housing 10 in which an arrangement of through holes 10a is formed, and conductive multiple contacts 11 configured to be able to mate with a rod-shaped terminal inserted into the through hole 10a, and projecting from the other end of the through hole 10a and connectable with the electrode of a circuit board 2. The contact 11 is provided with a tabular part locked to the housing 10 in the through hole 10a, and a mating part mating with the rod-shaped terminal inserted into the through hole 10a and coming into contact therewith. The multiple contacts 11 are either one of a signal contact 11A for transmitting a signal, or a ground contact 11B to be grounded, and the position of the mating part in the insertion direction of the rod-shaped terminal is different in the signal contact 11A and the ground contact 11B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
