Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus in which productivity improvement of single-sided printing that performs double-sided printing and reverse discharge is easier than before.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a main conveyance path 31 that conveys a sheet 5 discharged from an image forming unit 10 to a downstream side; a reversal conveyance path 32 that is branched from the main conveyance path 31 to reverse the front and back of the sheet 5; a double-sided conveyance path 33, branched at a first branch point PC of the reverse conveyance path 32, for sending the sheet 5 back to the image forming unit 10; a reverse discharge conveyance path 34, branched at a second branch point PB of the reverse conveyance path 32, for feeding the sheet 5 to the downstream side of the main conveyance path 31; a double-sided roller 43 provided in the reverse conveyance path 32 rotatable to feed the sheet 5 into the double-sided conveyance path 33; and a reverse roller 42 provided in the reverse conveyance path 32 and rotatable to send the sheet 5 to the reverse discharge conveyance path 34. The reverse roller 42 is provided on the downstream side of the double-sided roller 43 as viewed from a discharge side P1 of the image forming unit 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
