Abstract:
To improve the convenience and the safety of moving work of a portal crane.SOLUTION: The portal crane capable of moving between a first traveling direction and the second traveling direction whose traveling directions are different from each other, includes at least a gate-like main body part 10, a first wheel 20 for allowing the main body part 10 to travel in the first traveling direction, lifting means 30 capable of lifting the main body part 10 such that the first wheel 20 is floated from the first traveling direction, a second wheel 40 for allowing the main body part 10 to travel in the second traveling direction, and elevating/lowering means 50 capable of elevating/lowering the second wheel 40 with respect to the main body part 10. When using the portal crane, the second wheel 40 is lowered after floating the first wheel 20 by using the lifting means 30, and traveling in the second traveling direction is performed by the second wheel 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
