Abstract:
To provide a method for high pressure oxidation leaching of a metal sulfide capable of reducing a loss of a recovery target metal.SOLUTION: In a method for high pressure oxidation leaching, when continuously supplying a raw material slurry containing a metal sulfide to an autoclave 1 having a plurality of reaction chambers 14a-14e and applying high pressure oxidation leaching to the metal sulfide to obtain a metal sulfate solution, solution temperature of a slurry in the first chamber 14a to which the raw material slurry is first supplied from among the plurality of reaction chambers 14a-14e is adjusted to 140-174°C. Solubility of the metal sulfate in a liquid phase of the slurry can be prevented from lowering and precipitation of the metal sulfate can be suppressed. As a result, a solid content density of leachate can be lowered, and a loss of a recovery target metal can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
