To provide a high strength high ductility fine martensite structure steel material having sufficient mechanical strength and ductility even when used for a construction, a bridge or the like, undercarriage steel of automobiles, a component of gear for machine or the like.SOLUTION: There is provided a high strength high ductility fine martensite structure steel material containing C:0.075 to 0.3 wt.%, Mn:3 to 10 wt.%, Si:0 to 2.5 wt.%, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, and having old γ particle diameter of 2.0 μm or less, and a structure which is an isometric martensite with a single block.SELECTED DRAWING: None
