Abstract:
To prevent a spring from being pushed by sprags and overly deflected even if excessive torque acts in a one-way clutch.SOLUTION: A one-way clutch 10 includes: multiple sprags 11 disposed between an outer ring member 14 and an inner ring member 15; a retainer 12 which retains the multiple sprags 11 at an interval in a circumferential direction; and a spring 13 which is provided along the retainer 12 and contacts with the sprags 11. The retainer 12 has: a cylindrical body part 30 formed with multiple pockets 34 for holding the sprags 11; and an annular flange part 29 which is provided extending from an axial end part of the body part 30 to the outer ring member 14 side. A clearance 20 is formed over an entire periphery between the outer ring member 14 and the flange part 29.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
