Abstract:
To effectively use palm EFB (Empty Fruit Bunch) for power generation, supplementary fuel and fertilizer by thermally decomposing and combusting the palm EFB.SOLUTION: A palm EFB thermal decomposition gasification power generating system comprises: a thermal decomposition drum 1 dry-distilling and thermally decomposing palm EFB into thermally decomposed gas and thermal decomposition residue; a thermally decomposed gas combustion furnace 2 combusting discharged thermally decomposed gas and supplying the combusted gas to the thermal decomposition drum as heating gas; a dust collector 3 removing dusts in heating gas; a heating gas circulation blower 4 returning gas discharged from the dust collector to the thermally decomposed gas combustion furnace; heating gas circulation ducts 5 connecting the 1,2,3,4 in a loop state; a first waste heat boiler 6 recovering heat from heating gas at the heating gas circulation duct at the downstream side of the thermally decomposed gas combustion furnace; a heating gas bypass duct 7 connecting the heating gas circulation duct at the downstream side of the first waste heat boiler 6, and the heating gas circulation duct at the downstream side of the thermal decomposition drum to each other; a second waste heat boiler 8 interposed in the heating gas bypass duct 7, and recovering heat from a part of heating gas discharged from the first waste heat boiler; and a power generating device rotating a steam turbine with steam from the first and second waste heat boilers and generating power with an electric generator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
