Abstract:
To provide an improvement to enable a terminal to determine the necessity for a coverage improvement process.SOLUTION: UE receives a system information block message that includes coverage improvement setting information to transmit a PRACH random access preamble and a criterion for indicating an RSRP threshold, and determines an operation level in a coverage improvement process on the basis of comparison between the RSRP threshold and RSRP value measured by the UE. Furthermore, the UE repeatedly transmits a random access preamble by using PRACH resource corresponding to the determined operation level.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
