Abstract:
To provide a technology for a vehicle that tows a towed vehicle to acquire information indicating the size of the towed vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle travel control system mounted on a vehicle includes: a size information acquisition device for acquiring size information indicating the size of a towed vehicle that is towed by the vehicle; and a control device for controlling the travel of the vehicle in consideration of the size of the towed vehicle when the vehicle tows the towed vehicle. The size information acquisition device includes a sensor for detecting the situation around the vehicle and acquires size information on the basis of a result of the detection of the towed vehicle by the sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
