Abstract:
To provide an insert firmly fixed to a thin inorganic plate while suppressing damages of cracking, chipping and the like, and to provide a fixing method of the inorganic plate by using the insert.SOLUTION: An insert 2 includes a body portion 21 having a through hole 211 penetrating through both sides, and a leg portion 22 having a plurality of legs 221 disposed in a manner of being extended from the leg portion 21 at any one of both sides and separating from each other. A width W1 of a connecting portion 213 of the body portion 21 connected to the leg portion 22 is narrower than a width W2 of the leg portion 22, and narrower than a width of an opening portion of a non-through hole. The leg portion 22 is pressed to an inner wall of the non-through hole and fixed by at least one of suppression of the width W2 of the leg portion 22 and enlargement of the width W2 of the leg portion 22, when an insertion member is inserted to the through hole 211 and a space 222 among the plurality of legs 221 connected to the through hole 211.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
