Abstract:
To provide an apparatus for heating a smokable material to volatilize at least one component of the smokable material.SOLUTION: Described herein is an apparatus for heating a smokable material to volatilize at least one component of the smokable material. The apparatus comprises a first casing portion 10 comprising a first connector 15 and a recess for receiving a cartridge 40, and a second casing portion 20 comprising a second connector 25 for engagement with the first connector 15. When engaged, the first and second connectors 15, 25 define an inlet between the first and second connectors 15, 25 for admitting air into the recess from an exterior of the smoking article.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
