Abstract:
To provide an endoscope in which operability of attachment/detachment of a camera to/from an eyepiece part is improved.SOLUTION: A camera head 5 includes a mounting part 52 that is attachably/detachably connected to an eyepiece part 22 of an endoscope 2, and picks up a subject image emitted from the eyepiece part 22. The eyepiece part 22 is provided with an abutment surface 221 that is orthogonal to a center axis Ax1 of the endoscope 2 along a direction of insertion into a subject and extends over an entire circumference in a circumferential direction around the center axis Ax1. The mounting part 52 connects the endoscope and the camera head 5 to the eyepiece part 22 so as to be relatively rotatable around the center axis Ax1. The mounting part 52 is provided with an opposing surface 523 that opposes to the abutment surface 221 and a pressing part that abuts against the eyepiece part 22 and presses the eyepiece part 22 toward the opposing surface 523 along the center axis Ax1. The opposing surface 523 is provided with a protrusion part 527 that protrudes toward the abutment surface 221 and abuts against the abutment surface 221.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
