Abstract:
To provide a fracture state quality judgment device and a fracture state quality judgment method which enable a simple and accurate quality judgment of the fracture face when the large end part of a connection rod is fractured on the shaft part and the cap part side.SOLUTION: This invention, which is a quality judgment device that judges a fracture state upon fracturing the large end part 12 of a connection rod 10 into the shaft part side 14 and the cap part side 15, comprises: a strain gauge 24 included in a fracture speed estimation means that estimates a fracture speed of the large end part 12 on fracturing; and a controller 23 working as a fracture judgment means that judges the quality of the fracture state on the basis of this fracture speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
