Abstract:
To provide a wiper control unit capable of inspecting conditions of a wiper motor and a drive circuit with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A wiper control unit includes: a voltage dividing circuit that includes a resistance R2 one end of which is connected to a positive pole of a battery as a power supply and the other end of which is connected to a first terminal 120 as one of motor terminals of a wiper motor 18, and an FET2 one end of which is connected to the first terminal 120 of the wiper motor 18 and the other end of which is grounded, and that reduces a voltage of the battery to an inspection voltage at which the wiper motor 18 does not rotate. A microcomputer 58 detects a voltage output from the voltage dividing circuit through the first terminal 120 of the wiper motor 18 and the wiper motor 18 to a second terminal 122 as the other of the motor terminals of the wiper motor 18 as a detected voltage, and calculates a motor terminal voltage as a difference of voltages between the first terminal 120 and the second terminal 122 from the detected voltage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
