Abstract:
To provide a power supply device that stably operates even when a voltage applied to an input unit drops.SOLUTION: A power supply device comprises an input unit, a protection circuit, a boosting circuit, and a step-down circuit. The protection circuit has a first terminal electrically connected to the input unit, a second terminal electrically connected to the step-up circuit, and a third terminal electrically connected to the step-down circuit. The first terminal and the second terminal are conducted when a difference between a voltage applied to the first terminal and a voltage applied to the third terminal is equal to or higher than a predetermined potential difference, and is interrupted when a current value supplied from the input unit is equal to or higher than a predetermined current value. The boosting circuit boosts and outputs a voltage applied from the second terminal. Then, the step-down circuit lowers a voltage applied to the third terminal by boosting operation of the boosting circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
