Title:
ON-VEHICLE POWER SUPPLY DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2019154131
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To prevent overcharge of a battery by making it possible to appropriately stop charging even if a failure occurs in a control unit for controlling charging of the battery.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle power supply device comprises a battery, a battery ECU, a charging ECU, an HVECU, and a connector connection confirmation circuit, and is configured to be able to charge the battery by electric power from quick charging facilities. When determining an overcharge state based on a state of a battery input from the battery ECU, the HVECU instructs the charging ECU to transmit a charging stop command to the quick charging facilities. Then, if determining that charging has been continued despite an instruction to transmit the charging stop command, the HVECU turns off a switch to shut off a signal of the connector connection confirmation circuit. As a result, the quick charging facilities recognize disconnection of the connector, and the charging output is stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
