Abstract:
To provide a medium discharging device capable of solving a new technical problem caused in making use of a plurality of combined means for improving an aligning property of recording sheets on a sheet discharge tray.SOLUTION: A recording device includes a discharge part for discharging a medium, a medium receiving part having a medium receiving surface formed thereon for receiving the medium discharged by the discharge part, and a regulation part 37 having a leading end regulation surface formed thereon for regulating a leading end of the medium discharged to the medium receiving part; a rigidity imparting part 28 for enhancing rigidity of the medium in a medium discharge direction is provided at a downstream side of the discharge part by forming a crest part Q or a trough part on the medium in the medium discharge direction; and the leading end regulation surface is provided at a position for avoiding a collision of the crest part or the trough part in a medium width direction intersecting with the medium discharge direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
