Abstract:
To provide an axial piston type hydraulic pump which reduces friction between a cylinder block and a valve plate and causes the cylinder block to smoothly rotate.SOLUTION: A hydraulic pump 1 includes a casing 8, a rotation shaft 11, a cylinder block 14, a plurality of pistons 16 and a valve plate 23 formed of a suction port 24 and a discharge port 25 with an upper dead point side changeover rand 23B and a lower dead point side changeover rand 23C interposed therebetween. A plurality of thrust pads 29 are provided at an outer circumferential side of the valve plate 23, and an upper dead point side pressure pocket 30 to which pressure oil in a cylinder 15 is introduced via an upper dead point side oil guide path 32 is provided on an upper dead point side thrust pad 29A located on an upper dead point position of each piston 16. Further, a lower dead point side pressure pocket 31 to which the pressure oil in the cylinder 15 is introduced via a lower dead point side oil path 33 is provided on a lower dead point side thrust pad 29B located at a lower dead point position of each piston 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
