Title:
ACTUATOR OF VARIABLE COMPRESSION RATIO MECHANISM OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2019157759
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide an actuator of a variable compression ratio mechanism of an internal combustion engine which allows for suppression of the deterioration of responsiveness of the actuator.SOLUTION: An actuator of a variable compression ratio mechanism of an internal combustion engine has an electric motor, a control shaft, a reduction gear, a housing, a supply passage and a first discharge passage. The control shaft changes a posture of the variable compression ratio mechanism by being rotated. The reduction gear decelerates the number of revolutions of the electric motor, and transmits it to the control shaft. The housing has a reduction gear housing chamber. The reduction gear housing chamber houses the reduction gear. The supply passage causes a lubricating oil path of an internal combustion engine and the reduction gear housing chamber to communicate with each other. The first discharge passage is provided in the housing, and discharges lubricating oil to the outside from the reduction gear housing chamber. During an operation of the internal combustion engine, a quantity of the lubricating oil which can be discharged to the outside by the first discharge passage per unit time is smaller than a quantity of the lubricating oil which can be supplied to the reduction gear housing chamber by the supply passage per unit time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
