Abstract:
To provide a control device of a continuously variable transmission which can improve practical fuel economy in a situation that a discontent related to drivability is hardly imparted a driver.SOLUTION: When a driver presses an eco-mode switch from a state that the eco-mode switch is pressed down, a normal mode is set. In the normal mode, when engine torque is raised up to a first threshold Th1 in a split mode, the normal mode is switched to a belt mode from the split mode. When the eco-mode switch is pressed down by a press-operation of the driver from a state that the eco-mode switch is not pressed down, an eco-mode being a fuel economy priority mode is set. In the eco-mode, even if the engine torque is raised up to the first threshold Th1 in the split mode, the eco-mode is not switched to the belt mode, however, according to a rise of the engine torque up to a second threshold Th2 which is larger than the first threshold Th1, the eco-mode is switched to the belt mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
