Abstract:

To provide a refrigerator equipped with an oil separator with high separation efficiency.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes a coolant circuit in which a coolant circulates, and an oil separator provided in the coolant circuit for separating the coolant from oil. The oil separator includes: a container having a side surface part, an upper surface part, and a bottom surface part; an inflow pipe connected to a first connection part of the side surface part so as to head to a central part of the container when the oil separator is viewed in a vertical direction for causing a mixture of the coolant and the oil to flow in the container; an outflow pipe connected to a second connection part of an upper surface side for causing the coolant to outflow from the container; and an oil discharge pipe connected to the bottom surface part for causing the oil to outflow from the container.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
