Abstract:
To provide an electric connector capable of being fitted with a mating connector while reducing a manufacturing cost, miniaturizing the size, and adsorbing a position deviation with the mating connector.SOLUTION: An electric connector 11 comprises: a signal contact 22 and power source contact 23 each having plate-like vertical parts 22B and 23B; and a relay contact 41 having a pair of front arm parts 42 and a pair of rear arm parts 43, swingably held to the signal contact 22 and the power source contact 23 by nipping the vertical parts 22B and 23B between the pair of rear arm parts 43, and electrically connected. An opening width W3 of n opening 35 in the front of a fitting direction of a relay contact insertion groove 34 of an insulator 31 in which the relay contact 41 is houses is formed narrower than an opening width W1 of an end part 42B of the front arm part 42 of the relay contact 41, and the end part 42B of the front arm part 42 does not expand to an inner side of the opening 35 of the relay contact insertion groove 34 even if the relay contact 41 swings.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
