Abstract:
To provide a motor in which a magnet unit can be favorably rotated while the magnet unit to which a centrifugal force is being applied is appropriately held.SOLUTION: The motor includes a rotary shaft 10, a magnet unit 12 that is fixed to the rotary shaft and that is rotated together with the rotary shaft, and a coil unit 13 that faces the magnet unit in the axial direction of the rotary shaft. The magnet unit has a magnet ring 31 including a plurality of magnets arranged side by side in the circumferential direction of the rotary shaft, and a hold ring 32 provided on the outer circumferential side of the magnet ring so as to hold the magnet ring. The hold ring is formed by containing a composite material obtained by immersing resin in carbon fibers including a pitch-based carbon fiber and a PAN-based carbon fiber. The ratio of the pitch-based carbon fiber is larger than that of the PAN-based carbon fiber on an outer circumference-side portion, while the ratio of the PAN-based carbon fiber is larger than that of the pitch-based carbon fiber on an inner circumference-side portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
