Abstract:
To provide a rotary electric machine stator which can realize a decrease of a coil weight, a material cost, and a resistance value of a coil by shortening a length of wire which forms a coil segment, and a manufacturing method of rotary electric machine stator.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine stator has a toric stator core 11 in which a plurality of slots 12 are formed, and a coil composed by connecting a plurality of coil segments 20 inserted into a plurality of slots 12 from almost a radial direction of the stator core 11. When the coil segments 20 are inserted into the slots 12, by regulating an axial direction position of the coil segments 20 in a first direction side of an axial direction Dc of the stator core 11, the distance between each end portion (e.g. a tip portion 22t) of a plurality of coil segments 20 in the first direction side of the axial direction Dc and an end face (e.g. an end face 11E) of the stator core 11 is regulated to the same.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
