Abstract:
To provide a vehicle capable of avoiding or eliminating a fully charged state of a battery to enable a regenerative drive of an EV motor without necessity to operate auxiliary machinery (such as an electric compressor) of the vehicle.SOLUTION: A rotation direction switching mechanism 70 is provided between an EV motor 21 and a differential device so that the rotation direction of the EV motor 21 can be switched with respect to the rotation direction of drive wheels. During accelerator-off operation in a state where a power storage ratio SOC of a battery 23 is equal to or higher than a power storage ratio SOCf at the time when the battery is in a substantially-fully charged state, the rotation direction of the EV motor 21 with respect to the rotation direction of the drive wheels is switched by the switching operation of the rotation direction switching mechanism 70 to an opposite direction to that during accelerator-off operation at the time when the power storage ratio SOC of the battery 23 is less than the power storage ratio SOCf. With this, the EV motor 21 is in a reverse power running state and can consume the electric power stored in the battery 23 to reduce the power storage amount of the battery, so that regenerative driving of the EV motor 21 becomes possible.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
