Abstract:
To provide a leakage test method of a hollow fiber membrane module capable of easily inspecting the breakage of a hollow fiber membrane without polluting the inside and outside of the hollow fiber membrane and to provide a production method of pure water and a production device of pure water.SOLUTION: In a leakage test method of an external pressure type hollow fiber membrane module 10, air is supplied into a module case 12 in states that the hollow fiber membrane module 10 is installed so that a second potting material is disposed downward from a first potting material and water is filled in the module case 12 and a hollow fiber membrane, and the presence or absence of the breakage of the hollow fiber membrane is inspected from the inside of an opposite side hollow fiber membrane module to supply side air via the hollow fiber membrane based on the presence or absence of the leakage of air to the outside of the hollow fiber membrane module 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
