Abstract:

To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine which can suppress the erroneous detection of knocking by suppressing a piston hit sound.SOLUTION: A control device 60 of an internal combustion engine 10 retards ignition timing when knocking is detected, and advances the ignition timing when the knocking is not detected. Then, when an engine cooling water temperature is within a specified temperature range in which a piston hit sound is generated, the control device 60 sets the ignition timing so as to be retarded more than prescribed ignition timing at which the piston hit sound can be suppressed or so as to be the same as the prescribed ignition timing, even if the knocking is not detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
