Abstract:
To determine whether multiple stage control is operating normally or performing an abnormal operation, and to execute fail-safe of the multiple stage injection control, as necessary.SOLUTION: A control device for fuel injection valve includes: a fuel injection valve provided at each cylinder; valve opening/closing detection means for detecting one of or both of a valve open state and a valve closed state of the fuel injection valve based on a drive current or a drive voltage of the fuel injection valve; and detection execution determination means for determining a detection execution period including detection start timing and detection finish timing of the valve open state or the valve closed state. Detection interference such as overlapped detection with other cylinders and overlapping of the valve open detection and valve closed detection can be prevented, and the risk of erroneous detection can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
