Title:
CURRENT SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2019164074
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide a current sensor which minimizes reduction in target current sensing accuracy.SOLUTION: A current sensor is provided, comprising a conductive member 30 through which a target current flows, a magnetoelectric conversion unit 25 for converting a measured magnetic field to an electric signal, and a shield 40 for suppressing electromagnetic noise entering the magnetoelectric conversion unit. The shield consists of a first shield 41 and a second shield 42. A portion of the conductive member and the magnetoelectric conversion unit are located between one surface 41a of the first shield and one surface 42a of the second shield. The second shield has two edges aligned in a lateral direction perpendicular to an extending direction of the conductive member. At least one of the two edges has an extended portion 42c, extending toward the first shield, formed on each end 42e thereof. The magnetoelectric conversion unit lies between the two extended portions formed on two ends of the edge(s).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 26
