Abstract:
To present the position of a half cut in a label created by a printer to a user.SOLUTION: A printer 1 for performing printing on a tape 42 executes processing for half cutting a printing start position in a tape 42 in a mode in which two adjacent areas with the printing start position as a boundary are integral, determining a full-cut position CF at which an area with label data printed on the tape 42 is cut off and separated from the tape 42 on the basis of the printing start position in the tape 42 and the label data including information showing contents to be printed on the tape 42, printing the label data on the area between the printing start position in the tape 42 and the full-cut position CF, printing a prescribed mark M in an area opposite from the area where the label data is printed with the full-cut position CF as a boundary on the tape 42 and cutting the tape at the full-cut position CF.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
