Abstract:
To provide an optical axis control device that is capable of appropriate optical axis adjustment even in the case of using an inexpensive image recognition device.SOLUTION: A device for controlling the optical axes of vehicle headlamps acquires first information on a plurality of front vehicles acquired by image recognition processing, acquires second information on the plurality of front vehicles obtained by using a reflection wave of an electromagnetic wave emitted to the front of an own vehicle, determines one front vehicle closest to the own vehicle among the plurality of front vehicles on the basis of the second information when the first information and the second information are not consistent with each other, and generates and outputs a signal to control the optical axes of the headlamps installed on the own vehicle in accordance with the one front vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
