To provide a heat source machine number control device, a heat source system, and a heat source machine number control method capable of restricting excessive energy consumption by preventing unnecessary stage increase of the heat source machine.SOLUTION: A heat source machine number control device 4 comprises: a quantity control part for quantity controlling with respect to a plurality of heat source machines 2 for supplying heat media to a load 5 in accordance with the heat media temperature; a detection part for detecting the instantaneous drop of the drive voltage supplied to the heat source machine 2; and a quantity control interruption part, when the instantaneous drop is detected by the detection part, temporarily interrupting the increase/decrease process of the heat source machine 2 number by the quantity control part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
