Abstract:
To provide an air quantity control device for a range hood, capable of controlling an air quantity to a desired set air quantity, and capable of suppressing the occurrence of abnormal sound from a fan motor due to flow of excess current to the fan motor, or the need of a long time until an air quantity reaches a desired set air quantity.SOLUTION: In an air quantity control device in which a control part is configured to control in accordance with a set air quantity, an electrical input value so as to coincide with a relation (setting relation) between a rotational speed of a fan motor and an electrical input value memorized in memory means, the control part applies when starting up the fan motor, a prescribed ignition voltage to the fan motor so as to start the fan motor, and when a normal control voltage corresponding to the electrical input value obtained so as to coincide with the setting relation is higher than the prescribed ignition voltage for a prescribed allowable voltage or more after starting the fan motor, the control part increases a voltage applied to the fan motor from the prescribed ignition voltage to the normal control voltage at a prescribed rising speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
