Abstract:
To enable the width of an opening of a slot to be adjusted so as to expand and contract, at any position in a longitudinal direction of a tool body, even during application.SOLUTION: Multiple head members 2, 3 are mounted with longitudinally extending inner surfaces 2a, 3a opposed to each other, thus forming a tool body 1. In the tool body 1, there are formed: a manifold 5; and a slot 6 that opens from the manifold to a tip portion of the tool body 1. At an outer surface 3c of at least one head member 3, a slit 8 extending toward the slot 6 is formed along a longitudinal direction, on the side of a tip end of the tool body 1. At a location nearer to a rear end than the slit 8 is, an adjustment mechanism 9 is provided so that the adjustment mechanism can be longitudinally transferred by electrical transfer means 11. The adjustment mechanism pushes and pulls a portion nearer to the tip end than the slit 8, using electrical drive means 10, so as to adjust the width of the opening of the slit 8, thus adjusting the width of the opening of the slot 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
